2008 Cadillac Dts. Consumer writes in regards to vehicle electrical problems. The consumer stated he lost power for a couple of seconds, then everything returned to normal. When it happened again, everything, did not return to normal. The battery, alternator and headlight had to be replaced. Also, the windshield washer heater burned out. The heater was replaced.
The contact owns a 2008 Cadillac Dts. The center post obstructed the consumers view when approaching an intersection. The manufacturer took a report, but he never received a response from the manufacturer concerning the failure. The dealer wasn't able offer him any assistance. The contact stated that vehicle will be replaced. The failure mileage was 5,000 and the current mileage was 27,000. Updated 09/01/10. Updated 09/10/10
