When I call on star for a diagnostic test that when I was told that if was in an accident the car air bags would not protect me like they were suppose to.I was driving to the next town over from my hometown on hwy 8O East.

My battery constantly goes dead, everytime it rains, snows or even gets cold. I brought a brand new battery and a brand new alternator and it still does the same thing. The air-bag message keeps coming up along with every electrical component there is on this car. I have taken it to dealerships to get diagnostics and they never find anything wrong. This is not safe for my kids to ride in please advise.

The contact owns a 2007 Cadillac Dts. While driving approximately 45 mph, a vehicle failed to yield the right of way, entered into traffic, and then crashed into the left side of her vehicle. The vehicle spun around several times. The vehicle stopped when it crashed into a wall. The drivers frontal and side air bags did not deploy, and the on-star system did not activate. The vehicle was completely destroyed. The manufacturer stated there was no reason for the air bags to deploy, and that the air bags will only deploy if the sensor was impacted. They added that the on-star system activates only when the air bags deploy. She received injuries to the left side of the body and a dislocated disc. The current and failure mileages were 50,000.
