The contact owns a 2007 Cadillac Dts. The contact stated that was smoke around the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic. The technician diagnosed that oil was leaking onto the manifold producing the abnormal odor. In addition, the technician stated that the engine needed to be resealed. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 60,000. Updated 02/12/16 the consumer stated the crank case leaked oil onto the manifold

The contact owns a 2007 Cadillac Dts. The contact stated that while stopped, the temperature gauge increased. The temperature gauge returned to normal once the vehicle was shut off and restarted. In addition, the vehicle stalled without warning. The vehicle was towed to the dealer. The dealer diagnosed that water pump was leaking. The vehicle was repaired. The dealer also discovered that the head gasket was blown due to water and anti-freeze mixing. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 117,000.

Following truck..stepped on brakes and did not have any...swerved to miss truck and stepped on gas and did not have any...drifted into parking lot and up an incline and drifted to a stop. Has happened several times and nothing appeared on dash...and nothing can be found...someone will have to get killed before any thing is done about it.

2007 Cadillac Dts stopped in midtraffic. After a few minutes was able to restart, but it would only go 2 - 3 mph. Let it sit for awhile, then it restarted. Drove to dealer, found nothing wrong, however, they reset something in the computer system. They were not forthcoming with information! second time this has happened! I am fearful that this will happen on interstate 495 or another major highway!
