This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have a transmission concern where the Service Engine Soon is illuminated or the service transmission light is flashing. Technician may find Diagnostic Trouble Code P0705 set in the Transmission Control Module. Technician will need to contact General Motors Technical Assistance Center for further assistance.
