This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have a rear fascia or bumper cover sticks out past the tail lamp lens. Technician will need to remove the tail lamp. Technician will need to inspect and measure the fascia retaining clip protrusion through the bracket to see if it measures 1.5 millimeter. Also inspect the rear fascia for flashing in the mounting holes.
