I purchased a Cadillac CTS Coupe in July 2013. I got it home and noticed a rip in the passenger door panel. Valley Cadillac gladly fixed it. I was cleaning the car days later and went in the back seat and yet another tear in the rear driver side wall. Valley Cadillac wanted to have a leather repair guy patch it up. I refused and they agreed to order a new panel. I just paid close to 50k for this car. Now I have yet another tear in the back driver seat... No one has sat in the back seat. I can't tell you how careful and pristine I am with my cars..The car only has 1500 miles. Valley Cadillac is not willing to do anything but recommend a leather repair man. I think the interior is make of poor quality materials and should be recalled.I am waiting to hear from a manager.
Update from Sep 5, 2014: The Valley Cadillac said they would repair the tear as a courtesy. They had my car for 3 days due to the leather repair guy didn't show up. I picked up my car, the repair looks awful and they scuffed the back panel right above the tear they just repaired. No comment by the green team manager but he knew that scuff was not there before. He said that is the best they could do. I would be responsible to pay for a new panel. I am ordering a new panel and I guess I am stuck paying for it. Thanks for all the inconvenience.
