The contact owns a 2008 Cadillac Cts. While driving at 30 mph, the contact attempted to brake and noticed that the floor mat was stuck between the brake pedal and accelerator pedal, causing the contact to crash into nearby vehicle. There were no injuries but a police report was filed. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealership where the contact was informed that the failure could not be duplicated. The failure mileage was approximately 31,000. The current mileage was approximately 34,000. Updated 8/18/10 the consumer stated the driver's side floor mat became unsecured from it snap and lodged under the brake pedal and over the accelerator pedal. Updated 08/23/10
