I bought this Cadillac used from a Cadillac dealer here in Las Vegas. I had the car about a month when this happened. I was getting on the freeway and as I got up to speed, I went to change lanes and had no power steering. I had no engine power so I pulled over. All of this happened without a single noise or hard knock as a normal motor would. I checked the gauges and not a single warning light was on. I attempted to restart it and the motor wouldn't crank at all.

After being stranded on the side of the road for an hour, the tow truck showed up and towed it to my house as it was a weekend. 2 days later I contacted the dealership and had it towed there. They took a week to diagnose the car had a seized motor and needed to be replace. 3 weeks after that my car was ready with a motor from a crashed CTS that they found in a junkyard. I was happy with the service the dealership gave me but how can this happen to a certified pre-owned car that had been inspected and signed off on from a Cadillac dealer?
