I received a recall on my 2007 Cadillac Cts recall # 07204 in February 2008. I called the dealer and they don't have parts to fix the recall. It has now been 2 months. Help.
The contact owns a 2007 Cadillac Cts. The contact received a safety recall notice for NHTSA campaign id number 07V589000 (power train:axle assembly:axle shaft:seal) in February of 2008. He has called the dealer more than twice concerning the availability of the parts for the recall repair. He most recently called the dealer on April 2, 2008 and was informed that the part would not be available for at least two more months. There had been no failure to date. The purchase date was unknown. The current mileage was 10,000.
