The contact owns a 2005 Cadillac Cts. The contact stated that while driving 15 mph another vehicle crashed into the driver side and the air bags failed to deploy. The driver side had extensive damages to the door and was not drivable. The contact sustained traumatic brain injury. A police report was filed. The vehicle was repaired by the manufacturer and the insurance company was notified. The vehicle continues to have air bag failure. In addition, the rack and pinion rod was defective and had to be repaired twice. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure who did not offer any assistance. The contact owns a 2005 Cadillac Cts. The contact noticed a leak on his garage floor underneath the vehicle. He stated that the leak was coming from the rear pinion seal and took the vehicle to the dealer. The vehicle was diagnosed and the contact was informed that there was a recall for that same defect; however, his VIN was not included. The vehicle could not be repaired for free. The contact had the vehicle repaired. The recall number was unknown. The failure mileage was 58,000 and current mileage was 59,000.
