Purchased this car in May of 2017. It was back in the dealership within a week due to a broken seat (no I'm not fat). Less than a month later we took it back due to the lane departure, pedestrian warning and transmission. The problems include: hard shifting, long delay from neutral to reverse, warning lights that someone is in the road when no person or car anywhere around us, car not moving when accelerator is pressed etc.
Once we took it back because when I hit the gas, the car did not move for about 5 seconds and then when it did, the tach was over 5k. I didn't let off because it did this as I was pulling out onto a busy street. The car would throw you back when shifting from 1st to 2nd gear. The car would surge when sitting at traffic lights. The car would pulsate when coming to a stop. The list goes on and on.
We took the car back to the dealership 12 times. Every time my wife took it, the service manager blamed her for aggressive driving. when I took it, he blamed her for aggressive driving. needless to say, after he accused her for the 6th or 7th time I had enough and spoke exactly how I felt. Finally after the 12th time in the shop, I decided it was time to let it go.
I traded it in at a huge loss! We paid $68,000 for the car and just 17 months later, with only 21,000 miles on it, we got $39,000 trade in. This was our first and last Cadillac.
