17179 - Service Update. (Software Only) - Some vehicles may have been built with an incorrect calibration file affecting the passive entry passive start (PEPS) module. This condition may cause the key fob battery to drain, the approach lighting to become inoperative, and in some cases, the PEPS module may continuously ping the key fob below the voltage shut-off threshold, resulting in a low or dead vehicle battery. Reprogram the keyless entry control module.
