These "runflat" tires have had some impacts from potholes. I have had 4 of them fail beginning with the cited units. Typically, the sidewall begins to bulge and then a crack appears some time later about 4 inches long extending well into the tire about an inch away from the bead. The cord is exposed.

Two tires blewup on the freeway 275 at the sametime. I heard the same complaint from my friend who happens to have the same car 2013 Cadillac Ats who had blown up tires for almost 5-6 times. Please check with Cadillac dealers records that how many cars have been brought in for this specific tire issues. Tire size: "225/40R18/92V".
