This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that upon starting the engine the Driver Information Center displayed a Service Power Steering message and experienced a loss of steering assist. Technician will need to update the Power Steering Control Module using Service Programming System through Tis2Web with the latest calibrations available.
