Summary

Water on Front Compartment Floor and/or Musty Odor Condition/Concern Important: On vehicles built before VIN # D0142531, ensure the HVAC After-Blow function has been enabled. See the latest version of PIC5730 for instructions. Some customers may comment that, after running the air conditioner (A/C), water is noticed on the floor or in extreme cases a musty odor may be detected in the vehicle. This could be caused by a mis-positioned HVAC drain assembly in the floor. Some vehicles may also have a secondary drain tube within the drain assembly and this tube could contribute to the musty odor
