ATS ATS 4 Cyc Turbo

Sunny afternoon on dry pavement in Sarasota Florida going 30 MPG and slowed to make a right turn into a parking lot and the engine shut off and I had to coast to a complete stop...before I could put the auto into park and restart the car.

Called On star immediately and they said they had never heard of the problem!

Was shaken, as if it took place on the highway at speeds of 70 MPH I could have been in a bad accident or while on any road I could have been rear ended.....has anyone else experienced this sort of problem? Is it a software issue or an actual defect?
