GM is putting people's life in danger with the 2014 Buick Verano. This car without warning displays service power steering and stabilitrak and the car starts to jerk violently and will not go over 30 mph. The door locks go up and down and the parking light on the shift blinks. The car can't determine if it is drive or park. I was on the interstate in which the speed limit is 60 mph. I was almost hit from behind. The transmission starts to slip and you can hear a winding noise. This has something to do with the TCM or transmission control module. Upon restarting the car the warning lights go off and the car drives normal.
So I drove the car three days later and the same thing happened. I took it to the dealership and they stated they couldn't find anything wrong after I described the problem. What good is it to have a car that can't be diagnosed by the dealership. This is my wife's car and I'm afraid for her to drive it. There needs to be a recall on this car. I think the problem is with wiring overheating that is connected to the TCM. GM has done a recall on the 2016 model for the same problem why isn't the 2014 model included in this recall.
