The door chime module on my Rivera started to go funny and get weaker in sound level. I thought that perhaps it was the module itself and I even bought a replacement on from eBay. After getting some of the dash panels out of the way I now see that somewhere the wiring behind the connection to where the module goes have a likely broken wire due to the age of this 25 year old vehicle. The accessibility to get to the area that I need is too much for what it is worth and I decided to say fair is fair. I am super careful not to leave the headlights on when I park because now the chime won't warn me (and I've done this a few times).
