I bought this car brand new. I have taken it to Jerry's Buick& GMC in Texas, over eight times. On one occasion they advised me there was a short inside the gas tank float devise burning the wiring and had to replace the float and wiring. That still never stopped the gas gauge from showing wrong amount of fuel causing me to run out of gas at least five times since 2007. My dealer says they cant find the problem and act like nothing is wrong with the fuel gauge. Its funny as soon as I pick the vehicle up from service it occurs again with three miles from dealership. The next week I take the car back on the way to dealership it starts out showing 3/4 full of gas, within two miles from my house the fuel level go from 3/4 full to 1/8 full. Since I was told about the burning wire inside gas tank I'm scared for me or family to drive this vehicle. This happens all the time, same response from dealership service I have approximately 58,000 miles on the vehicle, and extended warranty will expire in three weeks. I really don't know if dealership is playing games about not finding this problem or what. Since January 2013 my vehicle has been in the service department over four weeks and still in service this time 8 days. Anyone having the same problems. I am on a fixed income and cant buy a new car right now since I am disabled and recently was lucky enough to have a Liver Transplant. This my only vehicle and need it fixed or buy it back so I can get a dependable car that wont leave me or family members stranded on side roadway. It is weird that they want to sell you cars and make money off you but wont repair it properly. Seems that they want to sell new car to me again. Its sad because my salesman is a great friend but the service department wont fix the problem at hand.
