Rendezvous 6-cyl

  • 29,000 miles
I read the article about GM's possible faulty fuel gauge issue in the 4/30/2011 newspaper. I have a 2007 Buick Rendezvous cxl purchased as a GM certified used car from a local GM dealer. The fuel gauge wanders by 1/4 of a tank. While under warranty, I have been to several dealers about this problem about 5-or 6 times total and they have installed a new sender/gauge, reprogrammed the computer, updated the software and it still acts the same way. It is very annoying and I must always keep it above half full so I don't run out of gas. I was finally told by a service manager that they have had several complaints about the wandering gauge but it can't be fixed and I must just live with it. I am now out of warranty for this problem and am "living with it" until I sell it and buy another car, probably next year. I feel the Buick Rendezvous should be added to the list of problem vehicles.
