I purchased a Rendezvous (spelled wrong) with auto lights, and a few weeks later I was driving at it was getting dark and my lights all even inside went out.... it was now pitch black and I was on a back road.... I could not see.... I slammed on my brakes.... and turned on the lights in the car..( the reading lights i think thats what there called) i called my friend and they came and i followed them with there lights.....a day later i re tried it and the lights were out and the gauges went out...sooo i didn't know what was going on..... i then had the car towed cause I was scared to drive it.....when we got there they started it and the heater and the radio wasn't working.... so then they said they were gonna replace the computer... for free cause the warranty was still ont he car...... they had it for bout a week.... I got it back and they said it should work like new... well...i drove home it was about 7:45......and it was dark and i drove for like .7 mi. and the on star came on... it asked if I was in a crash.... I was sooo enraged that I explained to the onstar operator what happened... and i rushed back to the Buick dealer and i was screaming at them like crazy and the guy was embarrassed.. they took it and replaced the sensors and other computer stuff.....i got it back in 2 days.... (they put it to the front of the list).... I got the car back and no joke......the car overheated...it was so hot that the steering wheel was hot.... SERIOUSLY SWARE ON MY OWN GRAVE!
bought it back the next day.. drove ..... was warm but not as hot...I started it for them and it started smoking... they opened the hood... and it was coming from the back twords the like inside part.....NO LIE SWEAR TO GOD!!!!!!!! the airbag in the passenger side came out.... an employee ran inside the car to shut it off
they were in shock and the other customers were in awww......
i then said get me a rental for free.. I had to use that thing for 2 weeks for them to ship it somewheere...i argued for another one but they said not till they see if it is defective
2 weeks later i got a call saying it is okey...
i picked it up the next day
and i was driving and i was fine.......
i turned on the a/c cause it was 92 degrees out and when i pulled onto my road the car shut off i was so mad i hit the wheel.....i was gonna get out and hit the g*d D*m* m*o*t*h*e*r* F*u*c*i*g thing.... so then i gave upppp I cried...i fell apart... i bought it back and I begged for a new car.. they said noo....
they shipped it again...
i got a call and they said it is ready.... i picked it up they said... there was a major like a major problem in the computer... and in the wiring and memory...they told me that i could have gotten itno another accident
the lights, radio& heater/ a/c were from wiring
the air bag , onstar, gauges and etc.were from sensors
they said they put in a new computer...
now LISTEN I SWEAR TOOOO GODDD!
ON MY LIFE...
i drove home and a mile away the seats were overheating from the seat warmers turning on themselves
and onstar came on and said are you okay are you in a accident
i rushed back and they finally gave me a new car... I was sooo happy
i got a call bout 1 month after.... they found the defect now this is the stupidist mistake in the world i was in tears laughing...
wait till i tell you
the buick company... made an error when installing them
they seriously
put in a different models computer in them they used the wrong model and the wires were everywhere they had to cancel every Rendezvous
i was laughing
soo that was the story but i advise you not to buy a rendezvous
or actually don't buy a Buick
buy a Honda or something
cause after this car is payed off its outah here
cause i still have prob... about the lights burniinng out
