2004 Buick Rendezvous was struck in the right front corner yet the air bags never deployed.** answer required***. the consumer was given several reasons why the air bag did not deploy. One was that the vehicle wasn't traveling fast enough, the second was that the sensor was not activated on impact and the third one was that there may have been some type of air bag defect. The vehicle was deemed totaled by the consumer's insurance company.

Rendezvous

Air bag light illuminated and remained on while driving 35 mph. Consumer took vehicle to the dealer. Then, dealer informed the consumer that front driver's air bag had to be replaced. Dealer was waiting for the parts.
