This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have poor AM or FM radio reception. Technician will need to use Global Diagnostic System 2 and check the radio signal strength and compare with a like vehicle. If signal strength values are low on a strong radio station, inspect for proper orientation of the antenna connector at the back glass antenna grid.
