MY Vehicle VIN number is 2G4GS5EV3D9246607.
I own a Buick Regal which I purchased from Jim Causley Buick in 2014. It’s been an awesome car for me!
While driving my car on Tuesday September 07th, 2021, I experience some vibration while driving home from work, then my back passenger side tire gave out. Further analyses indicated my real toe link fractured (rusted through).
I was then told about the above recall for the identical failure-mode experienced on my vehicle.
I spoke to the dealership from which my purchase was made, Jim Causley, and was told they could not help as my car VIN number is not part of the recall?
As you can see by the attached pictures, this is the failure mode I experienced (rusted through toe links which fractured) on my vehicle Tuesday September 7th. This is identical to the N212330130 recall.
I also incurred a tire cost, towing cost, and car rental cost. I asking to have the the recall be extended to other vehicles as the identical failure mode is occurring outside of your current identified vehicle VIN numbers.
I would hope you consider this an urgent matter as the safety of your customers are at risk.
