engine problem
When I first purchased this vehicle i never noticed the knocking on start up cold, until one day i had the hood open before starting. that is when i first noticed the knocking for about one second, since then it has become more progressive to the point that it is definitely causing me concern, i can't afford the repairs due to fixed income. And the last thing I need is to have to pay for a vehicle that is most definitely headed for major mechanical problems in the near future.. I would think with a reputation like BUICK has for fine automobiles&service that they would fix whatever the problem is.... Thank you very much i await your reply... Sincerely, nevermind.1946

I have always done maintenance on this vehicle and yet it sounds like something clicking in the engine on start. For a relatively new car,(34,000 Km) when purchased 1 year ago, it sounds like the engine is going.
Update from Aug 24, 2016: I am having the same situation. It started after I had to have my Transmission Module replaced
