I bought a Buick Regal gs in 1998 brand new and paid $26,000 for it. I was the sole owner of this vehicle and it was in very good condition as of last year. On August 22 my son and I arrived at home and parked the car on the driveway of our residence. About 15 minutes later the car burst into flames under the hood. It damaged the garage and driveway and could have been much worse if the fire department hadn't arrived when it did, as the cars gas tank was full. The car was damaged beyond repair. My insurance did cover the car and the amount they gave was pitiful. I now own a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix 30th anniversary edition and is that being recalled for the same thing" is there some compensation for me" I've always bought GM vehicles and I will continue to depending on your response to this email.
