Is this something G.M. did to keep their mechanics employed? Our last 5 cars have been Park Avenue's and every one of them has had to have the intake gasket replaced between 87,000 and 110,000 miles. I love the car but if you get one plan on spending 350.00 to 700.00 to repair the intake gasket. If your lucky it will leak to the outside of the motor, not so lucky it will leak into the oil where it can cause some real problems. The 750.00 repair is if your lucky enough to have the "Plastic" plentum on the intake that has to be replaced at a parts cost of about 300.00
