Engine turns over/ wont start for 10-15 minutes, needs rest. Apparently needs crankshaft sensor $50. part. plus labor to replace it.

My Buick of 2000 is a great running car. I think it was one of the last years General Motors had it together before they started putting ALL cheap parts in their cars. Parts that had a finite life to them, Like burning out after 100K. PLUS the hardware is cheap and plastic. Two door handles are both broken right now, It's interesting to get in the car. I researched for months and this year had the LEAST problems out of ANY of the models leading up to 2000 and then after 2000. I was a GM fan since I was a teenager, but unfortunately this will be my last . Gonna ride it till the wheels fall off. The engine is rated as probably their best one ever made, the 3800 6 cylinder. Great gas mileage on the highway up to 30 MPG normal speed, generally 27-28 with a lot of hills and a little less using AC. Overall a well running engine. It's just all the little hardware that breaks that's an annoyance.
