Bought a 1998 Buick Park Ave. with 70,000 miles on it in 2005 for a school car. Vehicle overheating. Had to have it towed 200 miles. Anti-freeze was getting into the oil. Replaced the plastic intake gasket with the new aluminum one that was supposedly better than the original plaatic ones that the engine came out with.

Cost $1500.

Have a 2001 Buick LeSabre with leaking intake gasket also and was familiar with the problem because of the previous car. When the car is pulled into the garage you can always smell something that has been leaking and hot. I am getting it replaced next week before it causes the engine to lock up.
