While driving about 50-55 mph transmission went out completely without any kind of warning, causing vehicle to stall. Transmission has been replaced with a rebuilt transmission. Manufacturer has been notified about this problem. General motor employee stated the GM is aware of the defective transmission and has been re-engineered in 1996 models.
