I bought the car Oct 4, 2017 and it sounded fine when starting it. The car was parked from Nov 29th till March 19,2018. I started noticing it doesn't have the full, solid thrust sound anymore when starting it. It sounded like an air leak either in the intake or exhaust manifolds. Two week's ago, I was under a porch. When starting the car, it sounded like the leak was in the exhaust system.

Having the oil changed a few day's ago, the manager had me listen to the engine while it was in the air. He said I either have a broken gear or pin's or rod's. This is the front pan in the lower part of the engine.

He said parts aren't made for these newer cars'. They replace the motors with motors from the junk yard.

WAS THERE EVER A RECALL ON THIS? OR CAN I GET G.M. TO COVER THIS?

ARE TODAY'S ENGINES REPAIRABLE OR JUST REPLACED?
