On April 27 while we were driving on I-94 E in our 2009 Buick Lucerne with 6,127 miles on it. While pulling back on I-94 the car began to accelerate out of control and we held the brakes down to the floor but it would not stop it. I was able to put it in neutral and get over to the side of the road but the car was still wide open. I have notified GM and they sent us on several different people until it finally was sent to the GM executive office. They are still refusing to do anything about if. We are asking that they prove to us that the car is safe to drive but they still refuse they tried at first to tell us that it was the winter mats that we had in our car but when the dealer tried to duplicate the problem they finally told me that it was not the matt now GM still has not got back with me. My wife will not drive the car since it was her that was driving when the car ran away. If I-94 was backed up they would have been a huge crash because we would not have been able to stop the car please look into this matter we took it straight to the dealer and they saw that the brakes were smoked and need work to correct them.
