Battery located in passenger compartment under seat, infants or whoever rides in rear are at risk, a battery can let out sulfuric acid fumes and damage safety belt system. Battery produces chemical that cause cancer, and acid & gas that can explode if a match is light. Protection is minimal to passengers.
