Tire tread separated from tire while driving at 55 mph. Bridgestone model. The vehicle sustained body damage (Bridgestone P205/70R15).

Going 65 mph and had heard a thumping noise, and vehicle started shaking. Then, a loud bang. Pulled off road, checked tires and noticed that tread on right rear had been "shaved" completely off. Tire had maintained pressure. Had damage to quarter panel. Tire was replaced by emergency road service. Firestone FR410 P205/70R15 with 20,000 miles. Consumer is requesting reimbursement for the replacement tire and is requesting replacement for both rear tires, consumer is also asking for repairing the damages that were caused to the vehicle due to faulty tires.

While traveling between 60 and 65 mph right front general tire size: P205/70R15, dot: A3M0dbi138 experienced tread separation. There were approximately 15000 to 18,000 miles on this tire. Tire not original equipment on a 1995, Buick, Lesabre. Consumer stated that this problem was experienced 2 years ago on other tires.
