service engine soon light goes on and off, engine surges and lags, both when stopped and driving. had numerous things checked, no luck. now the bi level vents don't work, just the defrost and heat.

Update from Oct 13, 2009: to the guy that responded to my problem that is having the same problem, i have had a tune up done, as far as radiator flush, oil change along with points of inspection done, plugs changed...talked to a friend, said maybe the fuel filter...would make sense with the way it acts.
