This Preliminary Information communication advises the technician that the Drive Motor Generator Battery Module and Drive Motor Generator Battery Sections for the 2012 - 2015 BuickLaCrosse, Buick Regal, 2013 - 2014 Chevrolet Malibu ECO and 2014 Chevrolet Impala with eAssist are being placed on restriction through the General Motors Technical Assistance Center. Dealer will need to contact General Motors Technical Assistance Center for further assistance.
