Purchased a new 2014 Buick Lacrosse in 12/14. Since day 1, microphone performance when using Bluetooth is very poor. People listening all state a wind noise and tunnel effect that is so annoying, they don't wish to speak further. There are numerous complaints in the Buick forums for 2014-2015 Buick Lacrosse and poor mic performance. Dealerships are absolutely no help and push the customer to the GM customer care group--this group pushes the customer back to the dealership. Dealerships say they have not heard of any problems with the mic and GM customer care says the same--neither one apparently don't read the Buick forum.
I'm guessing GM is trying to force people to purchase the OnStar program since GM owns OnStar and they need the revenue. I probably won't buy another GM vehicle based on the lack of support from the dealership and GM Customer Care. For a $43m vehicle, the quality should be better and the customer support needs a lot of improvement. In the meantime, I and others are stuck with the problem and Buick doesn't seem to care about it....thx.
