The Buick LaCrosse appears to be a very nice car, but to get the most popular features, you HAVE to buy a package that includes 19" wheels. These large wheels add un-sprung weight, and the resulting thin tire makes for a very noisy car when on most roads.

This is a shame -- but is a horrible trend among the expensive luxury cars this year. You go test drive, expecting a nice quiet ride, and what you get is a car with more noise than a $16,000 Camry. The LaCrosse is especially afflicted with this problem, and the dealers cannot swap the horrid 19" wheels for something better. Too bad - the LaCrosse is a pretty nice car if you can afford to put decent rubber on it.
