I-??m experiencing issues that seem to align with the gcm recall despite my vehicle supposedly being fixed for this recall prior to my purchase of it. I cannot run the heat with the headlights or various combinations of things that would otherwise be normal because the battery will drain within 30 minutes, resulting in the car to going into -??battery saver mode-?? where each system begins to power off one by one which ends with the car losing speed and just turning off and not turning back on. I-??ve been stuck and had to jump it more times than I can possibly count due to it not starting or going in the battery saver mode. I-??ve noticed a weird odor that smells like burning wires. I-??ve owned this car for 3 years and have had these same problems with it since the day I bought it. I-??m at the point now where I don-??t even drive it unless absolutely necessary because I-??m afraid it will shut down or cause an accident. The power steering is always first to shut down and on various occasions, I almost hit someone or something trying to steer off the road. I chose todays date as the -??incident occur-?? date but this has been an ongoing issue since the purchase.

I was not in a car accident! Hoping not to be just want to report this issue.Car kills in mid driving stability track comes on flashing checking engine with stability light and track system light as well! leaves me stranded in the middle of wherever I am! Stability light comes on car will not start back up. It-??s takes a while to start back up! Having kids in the car with this issue is a major problem! I have several videos of the car doing it and will try to keep track of it! The check engine light is not on when flashing not reads when I check it just stability lights! The car has been doing this for months now! I-??ve read that this is an issue with other Buicks like mines. Please help get this issue resolved the proper way! Also the security comes on when the car does that

While driving, the STABILITRAK indicator lighted and the car began to flash multiple warnings, loss of steering ability, electrical anomalies, and eventual shut-off. This happened while on a major interstate highway, jeopardizing the life of the driver and other drivers. This happened on multiple occasions within two days. The vehicle was towed to a service center, who had difficulty determining the cause. The service center suggested transferring the vehicle to an authorized GM dealership. Similar incidents have been reported by other owners on this website. This should be investigated immediately.

Driving under 40mph on two-lane road next to the lake. We heard a noise and thought we blew a tire. My husband tried to get the car under control and avoid going into the lake. The driver-side rear tire was not flat but was very "crooked". Vehicle was not driveable. Tow truck towed to dealership. Police and tow truck driver inspected the vehicle. No warnings. Upon receipt of recall notice, we brought vehicle to dealer on 8/27/2021 for service of the toe link. The service was not done because the part was not available and there was no status on when the part would be available. We are without a car. Stuck with a rental car and tow truck bill.

I filed a compliant Jan. 25, 2021 (#11389775) in reference to my car stalling. Which has been continuously happening the majority of the time I have owned the vehicle. I was contacted by my mechanic that my problem fits the issues on recall #13V173000 which my VIN # does not pull as a recall. I called GM last year in reference to the same issue which they stated because my VIN was not included in the recall that there was nothing they can do. I have noticed that there are quite a few Buick Lacrosse owners that have the cars that are equipped with this E-assist are having the same problems and are being told that their VIN # are not included. It seems that GM has overlooked a lot of cars that should have been included in this recall. I have had my car for a little over 5 years and my car has not operated correctly due to this issue. I have attached the text message I have received from my licensed mechanic.

Sometimes while cornering, almost always a right corner, my car will act like anti skid is enabled...I lose power and slow way down, , then my car speeds back up on its own, it does it while engaged to anti skid or not. When I put brand new tires on, it quit doing it, but it's doing it again. I have had this car into the dealer with this complaint about 3 years ago...no issues or recalls were on file at that time. This rear toe link recall is what my car is mimicking, but my VIN # is not listed.

Vehicle cuts off after driving for about an hour and a half or two after it gets hot from driving. Then have to wait a while like 10 15 minutes for everything to cool down and it will start back up again no problem. Drive 5 minutes more shuts down repeatedly. When it shuts down the dashboard displays service stabilitrak control and service anti theft deterrent system. Note. I've put a new starter on. A new throttle body. Mass airflow sensor. Upstream oxygen sensor. Changed the oil, checked wires. Changed the cabin air filter. Still not fixed. No service engine lights what so ever. Service stabilitrak and anti theft is all it's showing.

Whenever I put fuel in the car it has a hard time starting and will also stall occasionally. It's been happening since June 2018 and I have had a mechanic try to fix it and they can't figure out what's causing it to do this. Are there any recalls for this.

When driving my car on declining grades the "traction control" light will appear and the car's front brakes will automatically slow the vehicle down. This happened on 1/21/2018 most recently and almost caused an accident as the person behind me wasn't ready for my car to come to a complete stop.

Car stalled out twice, lost power steering. I was backing out of a parking lot space; restarted and then stalled while pulling onto street. Fear is it stalling in traffic and getting rear-ended. I took to garner Buick where had purchased new. When car was relatively new and still on warranty had had similar issue, but dealer never found problem. Now occurs again. They found two sensors that failed but ok now so told me to drive over weekend and see what happens. I see this as a big safety problem and an accident waiting to happen. Buick should be responsible if this happens, but in the meantime I am the one injured.
