While driving on a 65 MPH highway, I was trying to adjust the heater and accidentally LIGHTLY tapped my key. My car shut off. I lost all power, including steering. Luckily I was rounding a curve and was able to coast onto the shoulder. I would likely have been killed if this wasn't the case. Every other GM product seems to have had an ignition switch recall, but not this car. I guess it will take a death or two to get this resolved. I contacted my dealer, and they said there was no recall on this.
