Had to use an automatic, brush-less car wash on a recent trip. The deck lid vibrated so violently and the rear window actually bowed under the rinse water. The rear seats were in the upright position, so there was the support from them on the on the rear window ledge. Actually considered leaving the wash for fear of it giving way and having a car full of rinse water! Poor design? I think so.
