I have a 2011 Buick Lacrosse with a problem that the local dealership can't seem to diagnose and fix. I have left the car at the dealership several times without a remedy for the following problem. Intermittently, when trying to start the car the dash will indicate "no remote detected" and the car will not start. Sometime after 10 or 15 seconds the car will start, and if not, I depress the open and lock buttons on the remote and the car will start. If this fails, I place the remote in the pocket beneath the cup holders and the car starts. This problem is starting to occur with more frequency, roughly 5 or 6 times a week. I am afraid that at some point, I will not be able to start the car. I called Buick help line, and they have been no help, so far, after three weeks of e mailing back and forth.

2011 buick lacrosse with only 26,000 miles, the car would not identify my key fob, then the battery went dead. after 2 trips to the dealership and purchasing a new battery at $160 (because they thought the battery was bad) the car still would no acknowledge my key fob. finally got it to the dealership after hours of research they determined it was the module. I spent time researching this and have found many 2011 buicks have had this issue. GM needs to have a recall for this ( I have already had 4 recalls on the car to date)
