This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have a Malfunction Indicator Lamp on or a temperature message on the Driver Information Center shortly after cold starting the engine. Technician may find Diagnostic Trouble Code P0116 set. Technician will need to update the Engine Control Module with the latest calibrations using Service Programming System.
