2010 Buick Lacrosse. Consumer states vehicle stalls while driving the consumer stated while driving, the vehicle would loose all power. All the lights on the dashboard would illuminate and he would have to let the vehicle sit for 5-15 minutes before starting it again. When he did restart the vehicle, the check engine light stayed on. The consumer stated the vehicle was taken to the dealer three times. The last time, the dealer recommended replacing the ECM.

The contact owns a 2010 Buick Lacrosse. While the vehicle was parked, it suddenly caught fire. The fire department extinguished the fire; a report was filed. The vehicle was destroyed. The origin of the fire was unknown. The manufacturer sent a representative who inspected the vehicle but could not find the acuse. The failure mileage was 7,800. Updated 3/7/11 updated 04/25/11

The contact owns a 2010 Buick Lacrosse. The contact stated that while in traffic the park assist and the check engine light flashed on the instrument panel and the vehicle would not accelerate pass 9 mph. The contact drove onto the emergency lane and shut the vehicle off. The contact restarted the vehicle and it continued to travel at 9 mph; therefore, the contact towed the vehicle to a dealer. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer who reprogrammed the tcm which caused the vehicle to slow down due to an engine malfunction. A month later while driving 60 mph the vehicle slowed down again without warning. The park assist and the check engine light illuminated again on the instrument panel and the vehicle towed to a dealer. The dealer was adjusting the selector cable when the complaint was file because it was too tight. The failure mileage was 13,000.
