When I put the car key in the ignition, with the door open, the dash lights say...KEY IN IGNITION...and the lights are VERY BRIGHT. But when I close the door the dash lights go VERY dim and never get bright like with the door open. Sometimes the lights will go completely dim. One night, while driving home, my wife shined a small flashlight on the blank cluster so I could tell my speed and other pertinent information! I purchased the extended warranty. The dealers service man checked it out several times but he says that is as bright as this model will get. Is that true...or am I being boondoggled. I am weary of driving at night for fear of an accident. HELP!
