Driving 70 mph on interstate and had blowout due to splitting of Goodyear Eagle ls 2 tire with only 28000 miles. Tires purchased on new 2007 Buick Lacrosse with 0 miles. Could have caused wreck and possibly death. This happened again on 9-6-20210 same situation on a second tire. Goodyear would not replace all 4 tires even though 2 blew out due to splitting of tire. Goodyear only pro rated the two that were blown and I would have to wait until others blow. This is too dangerous and Goodyear needs to be responsible. If the others blow and there is wreck or injury there will be a lawsuit and want it noted that I have reported and tried to do something about bad tires. Only have the dot # for the second tire only because Goodyear dealer kept the first blown out tire. I have not let them have the second tire yet. I am trying to work with GM to get some help with getting all tires replaced. GM first told me to go to Goodyear but now with the second tire a month later I am really concerned for my and others safety. The consumer stated the dealer and GM decided to replace the remaining three tires as a customer satisfaction gesture. Updated IVOQ 10/13/10

The contact owns a 2007 Buick Lacrosse. The vehicle has Goodyear tires, size P/225/60/R16 (na). The contact noticed that the front passenger side tire would sporadically lose pressure. As a result, she experienced excessive shaking in the wheel while driving at various speeds. She took the vehicle to the dealer on numerous occasions and they rotated, inspected, and balanced the tires. As of August 18, 2008, the dealers have been unsuccessful in remedying the failure. The failure mileage was 10,000 and current mileage mileage was 18,210.

Brakes pulsate when braking. Car vibrates while driving and also has a desire to pull to right. Feels likes wheels are out of balance all the time. I have taken the car in and had the balance checked and they say everything is fine. They say it is the make of the tires and Goodyear is aware - they have made a goodwill replacement of the tires due to history of my car.... the engine blew at 1500 miles!!! still no better. Every day I get my fillings rattled loose on the way to work. The pull to the right was fixed when the replaced the steering intermediate shaft - but I had to go back because the dealer did not do front end alignment after replacing the steering shaft "not necessary - it's not the standard practice with the job" when they finally put in on the machine, it was out of toe by.18 degrees. I am still working on getting the brakes fixed. Last time they turned them due to "hard spots". when I go back for the inspection in Nov. I have to have them work on them again. This time I will fight to have the rotors replaced as I am terrified that I won't stop when I apply my brakes because the pulsating has gotten that bad.
