2005 Buick Lacrosse. For several years its been "jerking" bad when I'd go to pull out. Every time I took it to get checked, they found nothing except telling me its the transmission. Well Saturday it finally gave out!!! It won't shift into drive or 1 st or 3 rd gear. I found that out backing out of a spot from a local store. I was halfway on to a main street and half way in the parking lot when I realized Drive would not work!! Pulling into the store I stopped to let a car out. When I went to go forward I got that awful "JERK" !!! This time I knew something broke! From the sound I was thinking it was a brake line or something! Nope!!! Tranny is gone! Like I need this now! Who has the extra money just lying around? Not me!!
Then to top it off all of my ABS and Traction Control warnings are always on!!! I get it checked, all the breaks, rotors and tires are all good! Its ridiculous!!!
I love the Lacrosse but because of all the problems, I will never buy another. I am a single working , single paycheck household paying my own mortgage and bills. I can't afford problems!!!
