The front end shakes taking off from stop. I took to Cavenaugh Auto World in Walnut Ridge AR. They drove it and agreed the issue was significant . I then made an appt to get fixed and they replaced the front rack. Went back to pickup and they said the problem still there. Then the service manager drove a new 2017 that was on their lot and said "Well, they all do this." I then asked them if I was to just live with it.Their response "I guess so." Well then, if this is true that they all do this, everybody thinking of buying should know what they're getting. And yes, I have talked to Buick complaint department and the nice lady has called me several times. But all I get is "I'm working on it", "I'll call next week", "We're running out of options". So, I guess this means that Buick can't or won't fix this problem. It is a sad day when a company like Buick hires and pays people to say they are working on a problem, when we all know they are blowing smoke.

The shimmy/shaking occurs when accelerating at about 15MPH; after that it goes away. Dealership says all Buick Envisions have the same problem, & GM is aware. However, the problem has still not been fixed. Other than this problem, I really like the Envision.

Update from Oct 3, 2018: FINALLY, a fix for the shaking!! Have your dealer check out TSB 18-NA-233, which replaces both 1/2 shafts in the front. My dealer replaced mine & what do you know, no more shaking. What did it take GM....almost two years. Oh well, at least it is finally fixed.

I have been told by buick that they're working on this. It's been over a month and I get emails saying they're working with cavenaugh auto world in walnut ridge on a fix for this. Shouldn't buick be involved? Cavenaugh tried and could not fix it so why are we still waiting on them. Just goes to show you they don't care, once they have your money they're done with you. So save your money, stay away from buick envision. Cavenaugh says that all these upscale buicks have steering shaking problems that can't be repaired.
