Disgusting.

After a long career at GM Paint Engineering... This is something I totally understand. I sent pictures to Kenny White - Paint Engineering Director - no response.

The hood paint is blowing off, and the rear chimsel paint started fading 2.5 years ago.

The topcoat appears painted directly over ecoat - this is what caused all the paint peeling in the 90s... GM is allowing this failed process? The chimsel paint fading is a total failure by the supplier using unapproved materials.

This issue was caused by Mary Barra eliminating all the paint engineering functions and letting suppliers do whatever they want and no supplier quality involvement - a sad tale. Will never buy a GM again.
