I am an old goat... I have never in MY LIFE REPLACED A TRANSMISSION! I can understand if I am driving a 68 GTO, slamming the Hurst shift, and etc... I just put the damn thing in drive and go... How can you ruin a transmission doing that? Please, explain it to me like I am a 6 year old.

The car is currently having the transmission replaced at at price of $4400... I feel I took it right in the "poopenchute" by the Buick MFG... sad part is I always believed that the Buick Enclave was a good as the two Caddies I had...

Car was always well maintained... then the transmission s*** the bed... and soiled the linen. Cost was $4500...

HOW DO YOU RUIN A TRANSMISSION? You put it in drive and go.

GM stuck it right up our "tail pipe" on this.

DON'T KNOW WHO TO BLAME, BUT I HOPE A PIANO FALLS ON THEM.

Enclave Premium 2,6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 83,000 miles

We have a 2013 Buick Enclave that we thought was an excellent vehicle! WRONG! It has the worst transmission I have ever seen. I believe GM knew it was bad, due to the warranty only being 70,000 miles! ALL others has at least a 100,000 mile warranty! I guess nowadays these would be considered throw away cars! Even though you pay a premium price for them. I will not buy another one.

We have a mechanic that treats us fair. And I am so thankful for that! Because your dealers sure don't!!! The transmission slips, and it has a shudder. I was told by a transmission shop that we probably should replace it with a rebuilt one for $4600!! HAHAHAHA!!!! Yeah why would I replace it with the same crap! That's NOT gonna happen. We will see if our mechanic can fix it and then it is going down the road!!!

GM needs to warranty these bad transmissions! They did the 2008 and 2009. You would think they would say, hey, we got issues and need to take care of them! Our Buick is a 1st generation transmission, which includes 2007-2017. Why wouldn't you fix these 6 speed before you create a new 9 speed with the same issues?! I will never buy another GM product!

Enclave AWD 3.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 112,000 miles

Transmission failed at 112,000 miles and had to be replaced. No support from Buick even though transmission failures were common in this car in earlier model years and Buick DID support the problem in the earlier model years. But no support for 2013. I feel ripped off and will NOT buy another Buick in my lifetime.

This car has 164000 miles, been well taken care of. Now they say the transmission will have to be replaced. Is there not anything Buick will do?

Enclave Limited V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 107,000 miles

Any transmission shop in the state of Oklahoma has one to five Buick Enclave Vehicles in line to fix this same problem however it is not addressed from Buick in no way. Cars use to be made to last however Buick is showing us that they will break at warranty. I have owned two Enclaves ( the first had ac/heat issues) I am so disappointed in manufacturing of this car. Buick needs to fix this issue for many! Ask any transmission shop what a shutter shake is and they will tell you Oh you have a Buick!
